Happy Labor Day! Hope you’re having a restful day with friends and family <3 I am sooo excited Fall is almost here! I mean, we’re in September now, folks. The other day I saw a leaf fall off a tree and I got a little too happy about it. I’m a huge fan of everything pumpkin, but there are so many other fall flavors to enjoy as well (apple cider, anyone?). The best thing is, you can still enjoy those incredible flavors of fall without missing a beat in your clean eating plan. Flavors like cinnamon, clove, ginger, nutmeg, and pumpkin pie spice are simply spices, which have no calories but strong flavors! There are endless ways to combine them with foods that are coming into season now like pears, apples, and squashes. Here are some fit fall recipes (wouldn’t it be fun to throw a “Welcome, Autumn” party and feature some of these dishes??).

These recipes are lower in sugar and include whole food ingredients. Eating healthy is so simple if you keep those two “requirements” in mind when choosing what to eat.
